Day 28: The song that would convert new fans
I’m of two minds on this topic. On one hand, I think songs like “HANABI” are better because they are the most approachable even though they’re not reflective of her greater body of work. On the other hand, “Mirrorcle World” is the kind of song Ayu alone can make work and cuts right to the core of what an Ayu song is to me. It’s the difference between holding someone’s hand in the shallows or shoving someone into the deep end, I guess.
